I try to do the dishes as I cook so after we eat, dishes are at a minimum. That way, if they don't get washed, it doesn't look as bad and I just do them in the morning. Living in the tropics of Australia, bugs are everywhere and unwashed dishes in the sink are the quickest way to ensure unwelcome visitors, of the creepy crawly variety, make their way into the house. Ugh, I'm so glad we're moving further south in two weeks and will be out of the tropics - not as many bugs to worry about in the more temperate climates!
