Yes, every night. DH and I divide and conquer - he takes the playroom and entryway area, and I take the kitchen and living room. It takes us about 30 minutes, then we spend another hour and a half for "me" time before we turn in for bed.

I'd rather do it in the mornings. But I haven't been waking up early lately, so it hasn't been happening much lately.

I tidy up from dinner, put away any leftover toys and fold laundry if there is any. I try to do most of the cleaning during the day though.

Bathrooms I do at night because it is hard with DS "helping". I usually clean up dinner while DH gets him ready for bed but lately bedtime has been a family affair, so I do it after.

Now that it is nice and we spend more time outside on the weekends I'm finding I need to clean in the evening or it just doesn't get done.

I vaccuum while shes playing, though she hates the noise. benches/laundry/dusting and tidying I do while she's awake. I tend to do mop/toilets and ironing while she's asleep as there is a higher chance she will hurt herself trying to help.

I do the housework during nap time. Dishes and other small things get done while Sadie's playing. I try to make sure everything is done/put away/straightened-up by the time I put Sadie in bed so that I have some downtime for myself. I'm solo parenting right now, so I need the time to myself!

Nope! I clean a bit while DH gives DD her bath but then I crash. Same for her naps. She wakes up early and only sleeps 90 minutes a day so I need the mental and physical break.

Yeah usually dinner and kitchen clean up happens after the kids go down. Now that T needs a nightly bath from being outside so much, he and my husband head straight up to bath after dinner and I out the baby to bed. He finished putting T down and I do the dishes, make lunches, make coffee for the next morning. In the winter we didn't need so many baths so DH and T would clean up while I out the baby down and then I had more time to do other chores instead if dinner clean uo. Oh well.

I have no choice. Dinner is at 6, we're done by 630 and DD1 is in bed (or bath) by 7. All dinner clean up has to happen are she's put down. And the way she eats and with the way I sometimes cook....there are some nights when it takes a whileeeee.

Yup. DD2's bedtime is so close to after dinner there isn't time to finish dinner clean up. Because of DH's work hours he usually hangs with dd1 after dinner. So if I have the energy I do clean up after dds go down. Otherwise we both tackle it in the morning.

I try really hard to do it during bedtime (which is mostly Daddy), but I know that will change once LO#2 arrives. But usually that 30-40 minutes is enough to clean up from dinner and pick up whatever mess we've made that day. I do bigger cleaning on the weekends.

Nope. I either let LO run around while I do it, or if it is something that it's hard to watch her while I do (like vacuuming) I wear her on my back. Otherwise we do stuff on weekends.

I never used to, or very rarely. I would try and get the kids involved with it or get things done at nap/rest or as the kids are occupied during the day. With the girls being a little older and spending more time outside I find I have less time during the day. Or maybe I just don't make it a priority. Now once th girls are in bed I do a few tasks around the house so I have less to do first thing in the morning. Of course there is always something to be done, but it helps!
