Either way, I know they're home in the afternoon at least because I see him pick up his kids from school.</p> <p>@sorrycharlie: Oh, no, I'd totally understand like 5pm or even after dinner around 7:30/8 but 10pm seemed really late to start the project to me. </p> <p>They do a lot of things at night so maybe it's just their thing. I investigated to make sure it wasn't anything to be concerned about and found that it was our neighbors laying patio stones. I was hearing the back gate opening and closing and them scraping the stones and laying them (plus talking). I thought it was really strange to be doing so late but I realized maybe it's fairly normal. </p> <p>Do you do your yard work at night? I'd be less caught off guard if it was a weekend or super hot yesterday but neither were the case (it was around 75 all day but breezy and kind of cloudy at times). </p>
