I think I'm pretty conscious about not double dipping but can't guarantee accidents. I squeeze it right onto a wipe and apply it that way, so as to avoid the germs. A&D for butt. So that is easy to distinguish. I do the face cream first and then butt. I figure it is more sanitary this way, but wouldn't stress if I mixed up the order. But for me, I'd get the chilly willys thinking about it so maybe get a separate tub/tube to help differentiate? If it doesn't bother you, then don't worry about. It's not like you're putting poop in the tub. I use this stuff to take care of any preliminary diaper-rashy looking spots as well as any spots on LO's skin (arms, legs, face) that look dry. So then I go to thinking, if I use it for LO's butt, does it make it unsanitary that I use it for LO's face as well? Typical scenario: one day I am changing Lo's diaper and grab some Aquaphor on a finger to dab his butt, which looks a little pink. If I didn't put enough, I'll go back and get some more Aquaphor to dab some more. (not sure if I use the same or a different finger...I know, I should remember!) Next day I'll use that same tube when I notice LO's face is pink/dry. Does my initial dabbing on the butt render this whole tube unsanitary? Moreso for the tub of Aquaphor? Thoughts?
