I don't love going to the dentist, but he's a great guy and a family friend. I would never go again if I didn't have to. I think it's a result of lots of dental work when I was younger (think braces, extractions, root canals). However I guess all that stuff worked b/c in the past 7 years I haven't had any work and no cavities... It's a blood thinner that he takes due to his immobility (he had a bad clot in his leg last year). </p> <p>The standard vegetarian diet really affects how the medicine works. Ever since I became pregnant and stopped cooking the usual meals, his numbers have been way high. They keep lowering his dose but at his check up today his blood was too thin.
