Pants have to be fitted, I buy only elastic waist now so he can get them off and on himself.

Tops I can get away with a size up.

i put DD in fitted clothing. I tried to go up a size up but it bothered her since she is an active baby. she would pull on her sleeves and trip on her pants if they came uncuffed.

DD is 12.5 months and I put her in 18month sleepers. She's on the long side so don't like thinking her feet are scrunched up in there. For everything else, she wears 12-18 months.

I'm struggling with this because she's sort of in between sizes. She's just about to outgrow her current size, but the size up is too big. What makes it worse is she's starting to be picky. If pants are ever so slightly long, she tries to pull them off

I've always bought a size up, but she isn't growing as fast now ... or is she? Argh. I know if I buy a pack of onesies her size, she's going to growth spurt the following week! I'm no help :silly:

pants, fitted because otherwise they fall off. Shirts i will put them on big just so that we can get more wear out of them.

I put DD in loose clothes when she was younger, but now I put her in clothes that fit.
She's big for her age so 3s fit well, and 4s fit nicely with some room to grow.

I tend to move up to bigger sizes before DS fills in his clothes width wise... he's longer in arms, has a bigger head, so tops are almost always gone before he fills them out width wise (aside form his lil buddah belly!)

He's in 18 month sleepers (13.5 months) and while it's loose for room to grow, I'm not sure if we'll make it through MI"s winter! :O
