@dnmommy: same here! I tried to eat with LO nursing once (I was really really hungry) and bad idea because I found 5-6 dried grains of rice on his clothes and the changing table! Oops...

It's our goal to eat together every night, mostly because it frees up post-bedtime time for Wagon Sr. and I to hang out, but we eat together about 50% of the time. It really does help these days though, if we eat with Wagon Jr. It encourages him to start eating a lot faster.

Yup we try to eat together every night. I grew up eating dinner with my parents every night, though it was usually in front of the tv. I'd like for us to catch up on our day at the dinner table.

We eat breakfast and dinner at the same time. Kind of worked out in terms of timing I guess. Growing up, I NEVER ate breakfast with my family (actually I never ate breakfast period) but we always had dinner together. I'd like to have my own family eat bfast and dinner together if possible.

Lo eats when she's hungry, which varies. Plus we have to feed her so its easier to do that before we eat. When she starts feeding herself we can have family meals.

Tonight Bee, Charlie and I all ate dinner together. It was great! Charlie ate really well, and we got to feel like good parents for a few magical minutes.

Eating dinner together is really important to me, especially as the kids get older. But I don't know how I'm going to be able to swing that in the long term! I usually work from an office, and it's just so hard to make it home on time.
