When I was pregnant, I didn't post anything about my pregnancy...There is just ONE picture of me on there with my preggo belly. But once LO was born, I posted pictures of her. I figured pregnancy is harder to stomach for TTC women than the actual baby. The process, not the product is the hard part.

I'm much more private and protective of this pregnancy/baby than anything else, so I don't share much on Facebook. I wanted to tell my friends personally before it was known online.

@mediagirl: I've also closed off my wall before! :)

I'm kind of over Facebook. It started earlier this year and it really doesn't have anything to do with TTC or being pregnant. I just feel like a lot of people on Facebook just use it to brag or to complain and that bothers me. I might have more people hidden than not. :) I will announce our pregnancy at some point on there but not yet.

I stay on Facebook for one main reason - to keep up with friends and family who post pictures on there. I do the same thing - post pictures. That's about all I use it for. I closed off my wall so no one makes the mistake of congratulating us before I tell everyone!!

For me, I still go. (not at much as I used to) I'm not in the position of TTCing and having issues, so others announcing they are pregnant is good news to me.

I love it because I have some great mommy / friend groups that i visit regularly for advice.

I probably use it about the same. My family really enjoys when we post pictures of the baby, though, we don't have time to do so too often unless it's a quick mobile upload.

I'm definitely on FB less now that we're TTC. It's tough to see all of the pregnancy announcements and baby pictures. I've gotten to the point where I hide most people with kids or pregnancies. Once we're pregnant, I'll be able to handle it better. For right now, it's just too much for me.

Now that I'm TTC, I'm on facebook less often - I'm nesting. Crocheting, sewing, researching, cleaning, menu planning, all that stuff... I'm much more relaxed and cheery, too, so I'm not searching for distractions or support (my birth control made me cranky.)

Couple of people are pregnant, having kids, etc. I'm just happy for them. Doesn't affect my facebooking.

Back when I was TTC, Facebook was difficult for me to be on. Especially when other ladies were pregnant or just had their babies. Seeing pictures and reading status updates would really get me down, especially since getting pregnant took us a good 6 months. Now that I am pregnant, I don't mind being on Facebook. I like to update here and there, I've put up a couple of belly shots. No sonogram pictures though. I have respect for those who may have a hard time that I may not be aware of. I tend to keep the details private, although if anyone were to ask I'm an open book and have no problem sharing :)

I think less. There are so many people on my friends list who are pregnant or have had babies in 2011. I feel happy for them and a little sad too.

I enjoy it as much for 'stalking' purposes as I did prior to TTC, however, I've definitely spent the last few months putting up my privacy settings and shortening my friends list. I use FB mainly as a photo sharing site with my friends near/far and would like to continue to do so, but want to limit the people that can see future baby photos.

I definitely enjoy it a lot less since we had a lot of trouble conceiving and are still holding our breath to make sure this little one sticks. It's really tough to see FB friends joyfully announce pregnancies when we're having such a rough go of it.

I think I'm enjoying it slightly more. It makes it easier to reach out to mom friends for advice and questions. I get faster responses than if I individually emailed everyone. Plus, people I didn't think of as a good resource sometimes chime in.

I keep my fb page limited. I only have people on their who I actually know. I have a couple girls from high school who I was friends with then, but not really now, but that's really as far as it goes. Because of that I like it. I really care about what those particular people have to say.

Seeing other people's pregnancy status' never made me upset even during my miscarriages. I know I'm the odd ball when it comes to this but because I keep the friends to a minimum I am genuinely happy for those people.

I hate it. suddenly your life seems to be much more important for other people to discuss once your pregnant and have a baby. I basically use my facebook now to make sure others aren't uploading pics that I don't want up there.

I enjoyed it the same during TTC. Now that I am pregnant, I enjoy it for sharing with people (family and friends) who I don't live close to anymore, who I want to keep up to date on my pregnancy. I think I will feel the same way once our LO is born, we will like it for sharing with friends and family.

While TTC, it sucked. It seemed every time I logged on someone new was pregnant, and I still wasn't. I really can't stand when people constantly comment on pregnancy related things, even when I am pregnant!

Overall though, I don't enjoy Facebook as much as I used to. I have actually deleted pretty much everyone besides some close friends and family. I feel that it is turning into a site to see how many friends you can get and who's life you can look at. Good snooping site, which I don't want to be so involved with.

Yes, I actually do. I think FB is an excellent way to keep in touch with friends and family and since I have less opportunities to meet with friends face to face, I can at least keep up with them online. It's also a nice medium to update friends and family with my LO's progress.

Of course, I understand how it can be not so nice to read other people's happy updates if you're going through a tough time. People just need to remember that Facebook is not reality since very little people post when they're feeling down.

For us it can be hard when we see people who are pregnant posting their happy updates. This is especially difficult as we have a friend who is due two days after we would have been due if we hadn't miscarried.
