Our apartment bedroom wall shares a wall with the neighbors bedroom. They have a one bedroom too and an infant sleeping in there. Like clockwork - every night between 10:30 and 11pm wailing and around 6:30am. I've never heard him or any other child in our building at night though so I'm assuming they never hear ours. This is a tangent, but our neighbors on the opposite corner of our 6-unit floor knew our LO had been born because they woke up thinking it was their own baby crying. Last time I saw them, I tried to let them know we had a LO (she wasn't with me) and they had no idea what I was saying. I will catch her eye and she will smile so nicely at me, and I will feel even worse. I usually apologize and she says she doesn't mind at all.</p> <p>I try to do little things for her (help her out with chores, get her stuff like potting soil when she asks) just to be a good neighbor... and to repay the karma gods!!</p> <p>Do you ever apologize to your neighbors the day after your LO was up all night crying? </p>
