I fell asleep every morning. I would sit in a two person seat, tucked into the corner with my arms wrapped around my purse in my lap. I almost always woke up slightly before we arrived. Occasionally, some kind soul would wake me if I slept through. Bus too, if I got a seat. </p> <p>Funny story... during college I lived at the END of one train line, and my internship was far away, and involved a transfer and then a ride to almost the end of THAT train line. And of course I was a sleep-deprived college student. So one morning I got on the train and fell asleep, and ended up waking up at the end of the first train line. I got off and had to buy a token (it was that long ago, we still had tokens!) through the machine because there were no workers in the booth. I only had a $10 bill. So I had to buy 10 tokens to get back on the train. And the $10 bill was my lunch money.
