I fall behind in chores all the time. I get take out too much. I just can't do everything all thd time. I have four kids and I just always feel a bit behind. I also don't do little gift bags for the class or big presents for the teachers. They got cards with Starbucks cards in them. I just try to remember I am doing my best and I have happy kids so that's what matters. I forgot DS's preschool teachers gifts at home (they were just flowers) and felt terrible that we came to school on the last day before break empty handed. Also, a lot of the moms made sweet little gift bags for all of the children and I just brought m&m cookies... I'm barely surviving having a 6 month old and 3 year old to take care of. I even skipped out on a shower this morning and used dry shampoo. I should be happy that DS goes to school with kids that come from caring, loving homes! Why do I feel so lame? Do you ever feel like you don't measure up as a parent?
