People like that sicken me.</p> <p>I was putting the kids in the car with DH yesterday and next to us was a lady who grabbed the wrist of her two year-old daughter and dragged her on the ground to the other side of their car. She wasn't even misbehaving (regardless it was not okay). My heart hurts for those children. Parents like that are so ignorant of child development. They have to be. Or else they are cold hearted people. They kept asking him to come play with them but he stayed at his table and was like, "JUST GO PLAY or were going home!" So, the kids are like, ok...<br /> And they come back to the table a few times to eat and then go back to play, and the dad sat there the whole time on his phone and never looked up at them or played with them. They kept hugging him and laughing with eachother, but the dad didn't interact with them AT ALL. Then when he was ready to go, he stood up and yelled, "LEEETT'S GOOOO! NOW!!!"<br /> Ugh, basically, it was obvious that he didn't want to spend dinnertime with his kids :/<br /> oh, and his feet were up on the table at chick-fil-a. She looked like she was maybe 10-11 months old, and her mom was trying to get her to practice walking by pushing a toy shopping cart. The baby just wasn't interested so she reached down to pick up a ball - her mom grabbed the ball and threw it into the shopping cart and took the baby's hands and put them on the cart handle. At this point the baby was crying, but the mom was scolding her and forcibly trying to move the baby's feet in a walking motion. They were causing such a scene, and my LO crawled over because she wanted to push the cart. I went over and told LO to wait her turn, and the mom said "No, go ahead." Then she turned to the baby and said "Hey dum dum, watch this girl and maybe you'll learn." So awful. </p>
