It was in the middle of the night and I was nursing him. Usually, his eyes are closed while nursing, but on those two occasions, he was side-eyeing me and smiling.....instead of thinking it was adorable, I was seriously creeped out. Must have been a middle-of-the-night delirium thing, plus it was dim - I'm afraid of the dark!
