@Bao: All you have to do is cross out the address and write "Please forward". It should eventually get to their new address!

I've signed for neighbor's packages before when they aren't home, but generally, I only get the stray piece of mail here or there. We have a good relationship with all of our surrounding neighbors, so we just run it over if it happens.

We do sometimes get mail for the previous owners. If it's not junk mail looking, we put "return to sender" on the envelope and put it back in the mailbox.

Nope. We used to get the people who used to live here's mail, but that slowed down a lot.

Yes, we get misdelivered mail at least once a week and it's often only off by one or two houses. I try to drop it off in my neighbor's mailbox, but judging from how often important pieces of mail aren't showing up at our home I'm starting to worry. At some point I actually made a complaint with the USPS but of course never heard anything back!

We get old tenants mail, so I end up just setting it on the ledge in hopes that the mail person will see it and send it to the correct place. I have no idea what else to do, since the address is correct, but they don't live here anymore, we do.

Never packages but sometimes mail. Delivery people are human so I expect mistakes every now and then and don't think of it as a huge deal.

Just last week we started getting our next door neighbor's mail, including what I'm guessing is bank statements...not good! We have returned it to them and left a note in the mailbox for the postman, but it hasn't changed!

Every once and a while. We live on a dead end, and crazy enough, the house at the beginning of the street has the same house numbers as us, but the street number changes half way down. So we have the same house numbers as someone like 6 houses from us. It gets confusing for eveyone.

Occasionally we get a piece of mail or something, but never packages. Thankfully we have really great relationships with our neighbours on both sides, so I never have to worry!

We get packages intended for our neighbors now and then... kind of scary when that happens, since we order a fair amount of stuff into our home. We hand deliver lost packages to our neighbors, and hope they will do the same!

The US Postal Service is slipping, and UPS isn't much better. It's a sad state of affairs... I don't remember this happening so often in the "good ol' days"!
