I've done this twice with the almost 6 year old and he always finishes his appointment before mine so he just plays with whatever toy he grabbed out of the gift chest that kids get to choose from after their cleaning. One watches lo in the waiting room, then we switch. I find it super convenient to be able to go and both get our check ups at the same time! So far, she's been content to hang out while I have my cleanings done. I hope we can continue this for awhile :)
