It's pretty standard for DH and I to split up baby duties into either "I'll get up with the baby and do all the morning stuff and drop him off at daycare, but that means I won't get home till later" or "I'll get up early and head to work before, or shortly after, LO wakes up, and then I'll pick up LO and do all the evening stuff." When I was still nursing LO at night I tried not to miss bedtime more than once a week or so, but I probably averaged 1-2 times week missing it.
