@TurtleDoves: Cobi usually goes right back to sleep too... last night I think I messed up his schedule :) I just embrace those times and enjoy them while they last!

@travelgirl1: love those smiles! Cobi does this thing too where he reaches out for me and grabs a hold and won't let go. the little heartbreaker.

@Mrs. Pen: I love getting y sleep but yes, I get this pitter-patter in my heart when he has the occasional night waking. I don't mind getting up with him.
He just falls back asleep nowadays but, when he was a newborn, getting up meant staying up! So that sucked!

Aw, too cute! Yes I do, especially if she greets me with her gorgeous smile, or if she falls straight back to a warm floppy sleep on my shoulder.

@zippylef: I wasn't asleep yet, he first work up at 8:30, then again at 9:30 and that's when I let him stay up. If I'd been sleeping it may have been different ;)

@lisa1783: awwww!!! Soo sweet. Cobi was like that too- soo happy at 3-5am!

In the beginning when he was about 2 months old, he would have an awake period at 3 am where he was SUPER happy. Since I was on maternity leave, the two of us would lay on the floor together and he'd just smile and stare at me. Happiest memories ever.

Haha, you're a better mom than me. I'm so used to sleeping all night now that I get super cranky when she wakes me up.

I'll admit it, I'm a total sap and head over heels in love with my kid. Last night we skipped the bath part of our routine (it won't drain), so that threw him off and he kept waking up... Anyway I was kinda happy when he woke up and wanted to cuddle and play hehe! Then I let him stay up until his daddy got home from work (10:45pm).

I let him have one of my healthy cookies and he got so excited he was clapping. I wouldn't be happy if this happened EVERY night but once in awhile is kinda fun. Despite the fact I had to get up at 6am and he made me stay up late ;)

How about you?
