I used to, with a bike lock. Sometimes I would just lock the wheels together. In Europe, strollers are really expensive, like double what you would pay in the US and there was a lot of stroller theft.

Never, not even at WDW whenever we go. People have way more expensive strollers than we do there lol and I've never met anyone who had their stroller taken at WDW and my friends go several times a week.

No. We have a cheap stroller we use now that DS is almost walking. It's always near me anyways if we are at the park or whatnot.

Absolutely! We have an expensive stroller and I have heard of stroller theft, so I don't take any chances. In our old apartment I had to leave it downstairs since we didn't have an elevator and I just locked it to the stair rail. When we go to the ped's office it's the same, I lock it to the stair rail on the ground floor and the ped's office is one floor up. I keep a bike lock in the stroller basket.

I wouldn't but I can see myself locking it up at Disney or something so someone doesn't take my stroller by accident or something.

No. I leave my stroller all sorts of places including on the sidewalk of a busy street outside of daycare daily. I realize theft is a risk which has kept me from spending more on a stroller. I wouldn't leave the double BOB or city select double out as freely, especially since my daycare parking spot could be opportunistically construed as a free curbside offer.

I was actually wondering about this. We are planning a trip to Disney and plan to bring our BoB stiller (I know she will sleep in it and it's so easy to push). I am concerned someone is going to take off with it when we are on a ride. Not sure how I would lock it up tho.

never. i've left it out of my sight before too, like on our front porch or outside of DS's school and i go in to drop him off. It has crossed my mind that it could be risky to do that, but i am not worried enough to buy a lock. I otherwise keep it in sight. I worry more about my wallet and phone that i keep in the stroller organizer when we are out - like even if the stroller is in sight, i will take out those items and keep them on me if i step away from the stroller.

Yes I lock it quite often. We live across the river from nyc. In a very very safe area. Yet it is an area with a huge economic divide and as such, scattered reports of stolen high value bikes and strollers. Basically if it's out of my sight I lock it up.

If I leave it outside someone's house and go inside, I do- just a thin bike lock that I attach to the railing. We live in the city and people don't have driveways so it's just sitting on the sidewalk. If I can put it in their porch or something I don't, and I never do at the playground or anything.

I did at Disneyland. Which apparently is against fire code. I didn't think of that :/ so they threatened to cut my lock but I promised to not do it again. When I'm not with it I do but the hand lock on. But I don't leave it outside stores or places.

I generally don't, but I have a bicycle lock for the couple of places where it's absolutely necessary--like our library has a dumb "stroller rule" where you can't bring your stroller inside unless you have a sleeping baby. And no matter what, you can't bring your stroller in during story hour. So they have "stroller parking" outside the building and you can't see the strollers at all from inside.

I saw a stroller today with a lock on it! Smart but it's pretty rare for us that we are far from our stroller. If I'm at the playground, I usually just keep the stroller nearby... if I'm at a restaurant, I try to leave it out front where I can see it from where I'm sitting.

These days, we don't use the stroller nearly as much though, which is nice - one less thing to worry about!
