Now I often find that I don't wake up when she cries. My husband has major sleep problems and is totally useless if he doesn't sleep well, so he has been sleeping in the basement so the baby doesn't disturb him. He was doing this even though he had a month off of work on paternity leave. I was for the arrangement, because I didn't want a cranky husband, but I wanted to kill him when he would complain about being tired or ask me to do more around the house!
