I actually was just thinking that yesterday on my walk and talk with baby in utero. I can't believe I can feel and tell actual body parts now! When I was SO anxious and nervous, always praying for a "sticky bean" and remembering when the size chart said she was the size of a poppy seed to an apple seed...now she's a pumpkin? Amazing?! How does your body do that?

Yes! I have them on my fridge, and they just make me giggle now. Usually as my daughter is standing there demanding a yogurt. Child, you used to be a fetus!

@mrbee: When I think of all the places I went while pregnant I think of how little A must have looked all curled up in there and it makes me smile.

@Tidybee: I had an ultrasound at 34 weeks and you can totally recognise her in it! And she came out with her arm in the exact position by her face as she was in in the ultrasound, so I can compare the pic of her being lifted out to the ultrasound and it's exactly the same!

@PrincessBaby: I was amazed by all the hiccups etc when I was pregnant but now she's here it gives it a whole new meaning. Remember the first few days after she was born, she used to wriggle and squirm on my chest the exact same way that she had in my belly, I really felt like I knew her already.

@Bao: @apis: I think DH will be a lot more excited and attentive to scans for our next pregnancy, now he's experienced being so in love with the end result :)

@autumnlove: It's mind blowing isn't it! Does it feel any different having scans for your second pregnancy?

@lemondrop: Ha ha, that's exactly how I feel! If only I couod skip the morning sickness part though...

Yes! It makes me want to do it again and really enjoy it the next time. Knowing what to expect, I hope I can bond more and be more relaxed with the next pregnancy. The ultrasounds were my favorite thing aside from baby kicks.

@travelgirl1: it TOTALLY blows my mind! I have all of her u/s pics in a little album (she had a lot of u/s!), and it's CRAZY!!! I also took video of her kicking and having hiccups in my belly and it's so...astonishing....that she was in my belly doing all of that!!

All the time. It's still surprising to me how much he looks like his ultrasounds.

I do this all the time! I can't believe that the tiny little jellybean from week 7, or the teeny floating person from week 12, is now my gorgeous, amazing, smiling, giggling three month old daughter. It blows my mind!
