@chopsuey119: I worry about that too. i want my son to love me more than any girl until he gets married, but I do worry about making him into a momma's boy. I married a momma's boy, so I know how dangerous it can be to a relationship. It's hard to know how to find a healthy balance of love and respect, without making him too attached to me (or even admitting that I secretly WANT him to! lol)

I do for my nephews. I can't say with my own baby bc I'm currently pregnant. I think I loved when my nephew as 6 mos.. He was still a chubby baby, but could sit up and seemed more older but still baby. My fave stage at least as an aunt!

@Miss Adia: Dang. Just raise your little one to be a smart cookie! She needs to fend off those boys! This is why although I'd love a son, I only want girls! I think I'll be sad the day my baby boy starts liking girls more than he likes mommy! :)

@chopsuey119: I know right!? At her Christmas program this little boy kept trying to hold her hand and kiss her cheek and I was about to flip! Some of these little boys out there are going to be heart breakers! Anyway, this little boy has always needed to be right next to her everywhere they go. On the field trip to the pumpkin patch, he told his mom that he wanted to give my daughter his pumpkin because he picked it out carefully just for her. O_O Dude, you are 5!
But he's a smart little guy. My daughter wants an iPhone now because he has an older version and apparently calls his mother every day during snack time.

I love DS's age (almost 4). It is such a fun age, but I do miss him being little. I miss holding him and cuddling him. I think I do like the toddler/little boy stage better though :o He can do stuff on his own and its nice to actually do things with him!

My LO is almost 7 months and so fun now. But I just saw a newborn the other day and my heart just felt broken that she had grown up so fast.

I already miss the newborn stage a little. My daughter is almost 20 months. I was so stressed when she was a newborn that I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have. I am enjoying the toddler stage a lot more and rarely stress so I hope I won't have the same regret.

lol I know with my future second one, I will not be as crazy and I will probably relax more and enjoy more. I mean, I would be up and on her if it sounded like she was breathing funny. I also rushed her newborn stage. I kept saying "Oh I can't wait for her to do...." and then she did it and I was like :-( she's growing up!!!! NO!!!!

Sometimes I miss that I don't remember more... Should've enjoyed it more, regardless of my exhaustion and wish that my marital situation would've been different BUT other than that I find myself thinking I'm crazy to WANT to go back to not sleeping again and being the sole provision for a little one that can't do a thing for themselves.

I get to SLEEP NOW!!!!!!!! *cries* lol jk

Moms with older children: Do you ever wish you could back?

I wish I would have enjoyed it more instead of stressing out about every single internet article I read or every single peep she made. I was worried about how much tummy time she had vs how much back time. I worried if she was behind other newborns. Because OMG I couldn't be like the snooty mom in my pregnancy group that boasted her 2 month old was potty trained and well on his way to learning three languages. UGH! I would SO trade in this sassy princess attitude, morning fights, little boys wanting to SKYPE (YES!!!! AT FREAKING 5!!!!!!!!) with her for sleepless nights and sore nipples. I would trade it in a heart beat. lol Anyone else?
