I have to be really tired to try, because it only has a 50% chance of working. I often take 30 minutes to fall asleep and she often only sleeps for 45. And a 15 minute nap is just enough to make me want to cry. Or sometimes actually cry.

All the time. My husband does whenever he's home and she naps. She loves it, we love it, total win win.

Yup; almost every weekend. If I lay down with her she sleeps much better. Of course; I can't just lay down with her when I'm tired and she's wide awake..that would be far too easy!!

Same! When I'm tired, she doesn't sleep. If I'm not tired, she naps. Darn that Murphy!

No, DD has always refused to co-sleep, which I guess is just fine.

I used to with my first son. But with four there is never a time when everyone is napping

Yes. It usually works as long as I bring DD into bed with me. She likes to sleep with me. Getting her down for naps in her crib is another story.

It never fails that every time I try to nap at the same time as Charlie, he doesn't go down for his nap. Today was no exception, doh!

I ended up having to stroller walk him to a birthday party, which was a mile and a half away. Not the world's longest walk, but also not quite the nap I was hoping for!
