<description>&#60;p&#62;My in-laws call anything that comes on a television a show. So, if Forrest Gump was playing on TV, if they were talking about it they would refer to it as the show. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Or they will be like &#34;Have you seen that show that just came out?&#34; and be referring to a movie. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I have to use context clues to figure it out half the time! For me, a show is a television show, like a sitcom. A movie is a movie.
