But since we don't do bentos (we do a main lunch entree and several snacks) it kills me when his lunch container comes back full!!! Sometimes he's distracted enough at daycare that he'll eat stuff he normally doesn't eat at home. Sometimes he doesn't like eggs at home. But I didn't have anything to pack for his lunch so I made him scrambled eggs w/ spinach and bacon and cheese. Hopefully he eats them! Sometimes i'm surprised by what they are willing to eat. But sometimes they don't eat what they typically really enjoy.. it's kind of a big mystery to me actually. One time I sent DD some cheese, and she didn't touch it. I asked her why since she likes cheese a lot, and she said "I thought it was pineapple!" Which makes no sense since she also loves pineapple. Also, there are days she'll eat certain things, and other days where she doesn't want it. The last couple of days she hasn't been eating any of the veggies so daycare asked me to stop bringing veggies and bring more fruit instead. M has rejected them in the past but these were super sweet and I cut out the middles to hopefully get rid of the sour bits inside. I'm hoping she will eat them but I'm not sure if she will or not...</p> <p>I sent bananas in case she doesn't like the strawberries. :) </p>
