It's a very non-traditional supermarket. I just found out they own Trader Joe's! I LOVE TJ's but not a fan of Aldi. They are so different... But I was spoiled with great markets like Whole Foods and Wegmans when I was in the states. There were about 6 or 7 markets within a ten minute drive from where we live and that doesn't include Target and Walmart which both have groceries as well and most times cheaper than your traditional supermarkets. In Asia it's a whole new ballgame here. It's SO hard to find things all in one place now. I'll manage and there are other perks but still. We were a large family and they were the best prices she could find.<br /> I WISH we had one here, but as it is, I have to drive 75 miles one way to get to a Wal-Mart or any other supermarket. I found that the prices are 10-20 cents less than major stores but we eat store brand, it is considerably cheaper than name brands. Cash or debit cards. I LOVE how fast they are at checking you out and I have a few times now taken things back that weren't good quality and received my money back, plus a replacement.</p> <p>I love Aldi's. My husband and I shop there weekly. We take a refrigerator bag or two with us and anything we can't find there, we go to Walmart for. Aldi's is 99% of the time cheaper than any other grocery store. They have cool seasonal items and frozen entrees too. It depends on which Aldi's you go to because some are cleaner than others even though the layout is identical. I never really need a cart. I don't buy enough for a cart. I usually leave LO at home with daddy when I go food shopping so I am quick too.
