I don't go to the kinds of places where they are really gross much anymore (like, bars where people are wasted, etc). I'm pretty good at hovering though and will if the seat looks questionable at all. I hate putting down toilet paper-- I'd rather my butt close to the seat than my hand (though my friend pointed out that you wash your hands right away and not your butt).
