Sometimes he'll wake up when my husband's alarm goes off at 5:30 or when he gets out of the shower around 5:45. We stay up until he's ready to go back down, usually around 7:30 - 8:00 (depending on when he wakes up), then when he's down, I'm out! The only exception in this morning routine is when I can coax him back to bed, return to bed myself, and wake up around a more reasonable time - like 7:30 to begin with. Now I'm back at work and he's 16 mo and transitioned to one nap a day, so he goes down for 2 or 3 hours at a time. Great on the weekend when I'm home, but I don't feel the need to nap anymore since he sleeps 11-12 hours a night anyway.
