My husband and I talk about this all the time. Like there are millions of sperms and that one specific one fertilized and made our LO. It's just so amazing and marvelous. I stare at my LO sometimes with such wonderment. If any of the other 999,999 sperms fertilized, we would've had a totally different child and I can't imagine having any one else but him. We got pregnant on our 2nd month of trying and I always think that I am glad we didn't get pregnant on the first try because we would have ended up with a completely different kid. But of course that is silly because we would have thought that 1st kid was super great, too. I struggle with that one sometimes. I would like to think that we are fated to have the kids that we have, but the reality is that there is a huge dose of chance in there.</p> <p>Do you ever think about how different your life would be if you had a different child? </p>
