A few months, I received a package in the mail from her, which she had just gotten a chance to mail (the note said she'd lost the package and then found it when she was packing to move in with her husband upon getting married!). It was a beautiful necklace, handmade by some of the Sudanese women she worked with, accompanied with a really sweet thank you note (that was a few years old, ha ha). I really wanted to send a thank you note for the necklace and the note. Instead, I just sent her a facebook message.
