I loved our wedding- we had a small destination wedding and it was so perfect. I loved planning but it was stressful and I wouldn't want to plan it all over again, but if I could relive that day again I would in a heartbeat. It wasn't my wedding, it was my mother's. We had enough money saved for the wedding that we wanted, but my mom wanted this big elaborate wedding with over 400 guests. It just made things incredibly stressful and I didn't enjoy our day very much. There also wasn't really much that I wanted at the wedding except for the fact that I wore my mom's dress. I've wanted to do that ever since I saw it, and it was everything I wanted it to be. We booked this venue a year earlier. Our wedding celebration was the last one that took place there (400 guests). They filed bankruptcy and the business closed a week later. I really enjoyed the party we had, but I think I would have enjoyed the vacation even more looking back at it.
