I wish people bought from our wedding registry. I think we had two total gifts from the registry (colander and coffee maker). As for the baby registry, there is so much I would change knowing what I actually need for a baby. It would be silly for me to have another registry for the second baby, but DH says I should make one anyways. That way we can use the completion discount :)

Totally... I would have tried to stress "no clothes" even though we didn't have any on our registry anyway.

I would have changed my registry too. I would have gotten regular plates instead of expensive kate spade dishes. more towels, bed sheets.

As for DD's things, I would have asked for little things instead of a jumperoo (by the way is still new in box and and taking up space) pack and play (also still in box).

Both my wedding and baby registries would be totally different if I could do them over again knowing what we might actually need. I know there are tons of lists out there, but everyone's situation is so unique.

I would have not put any boutique-rarely used items on my registry (sushi dish set? mandolin slicer? NEVER USED). We got so much stuff from our registry but to this very day do not have a complete dish set for everyday use, nor do we have enough sheets. I should have put more everyday stuff on there.

As for the baby registry, I should have put a ton of bottles on there as well as basic clothes in every size (I didn't put any clothes on there at all). We have a ton of mis-matched onesies that don't go with anything. Pants that don't match anything. And clothing that is the wrong season/itchy/scratchy/uncomfortable/will never be worn.
