We spent a lot of time in the sun last summer and I always worried he would overheat and get super dark and get dry skin from all the sun exposure. So this summer we've mostly stayed indoors with some outdoor outings. Also, even if I grew up on an island, I'm not a fan of the sun. Maybe b/c I feel like my skin is so ruined by not using sunscreen growing up. It just wasn't a big thing back then. And now I have so many moles. Makes me worried... It's very healthy to be outside and get some vitamin D. All my babies are fair skinned. We do sun screen and hats but sometimes we have to just stay in. We have had record breaking heat (100-110) for a week. This morning I was out at the playground with Charlie and the sun was in full force even though it wasn't even 10 am yet! He had on sunscreen, but I don't love it when he gets a lot of that level of sun exposure.</p> <p>Not sure what we can do though, other than stay at home or wear big hats.</p> <p>Do you ever worry about your LO getting too much sun? How do you manage it? </p>
