@HLK208: the baby wakes everyone up almost every morning, but there is not much I can do about that! My older one won't tolerate white noise and isn't in a deep sleep in the morning. But if my older one wakes up first, she needs to be quiet. We just started a reward chart so she gets a sticker for being quiet and then she will get a prize once the chart is filled. It has been working well and she is so quiet now (most of the time)! Have you tried that?

@Mrs. High Heels: I think we exhausted him today!! He ran around all day long and didn't take a nap... so he ended up falling asleep an hour-and-a-half ahead of schedule!

@mrbee: if that's the case, i think that's pretty amazing that charlie didn't wake up at right away! he must be a decently deep sleeper!

@Mrs. High Heels: Yah their room share a wall... and for various reasons, that shared wall is exactly where Olive's crib is located!

Olive's room has white noise in it, but Charlie refuses to have it on... so when she's crying, then we'll usually stick a phone in the hallway with the white noise app turned up all the way. That usually does the trick... if we can get the white noise turned on in time, that is!

@Mrs. High Heels: Haha I spent like a full minute trying to think of an alternative to "girlfriend"! It captured my sentiment in the moment though... Olive is a true drama queen so she brings out the diva in all of us.

She's still fussing but the crisis has passed, I think.

All the time. DS wakes up his little sister every day. For some reason he runs through the halls in the morning and then opens 2 baby gates and usually wakes her up at 5:30am.

YES!! That's why we rarely let J fuss for more than 5-10 minutes - I get soo nervous that he'll wake up his big sister. We bought another marpac just last week to use in N's room, so now we have white noise in both their rooms to drown out all outside noise. That should do it. N has lived without white noise for sooo long though, it's weird to be introducing it now when she's halfway to 3.

Haha that's funny you used the word, "Girlfriend!" - you're such a diva, Mr. Bee! Now all you need is to snap of your fingers and a hair flip.

Olive is standing up in her crib now and crying dramatically... girlfriend, you had better not wake up your brother! I just turned on some white noise and closed the door to Charlie's room... hopefully that will help!

Oh phew she's lying back down... I hope she doesn't wake back up!
