But I did not like how big it was and how many kids were there. I like are smaller daycare. The places we looked at ranged from 650-830$ a month, and I definitely expected more from the expensive ones. For example, the most expensive place teaches the babies sign language, and was a brand new facility. The cheaper ones were in churches and had older equipment. The one we went with is a bit more expensive but it had exactly the same curriculum as the other center. Ultimately, the winning factors were location and the fact that my mom's in the next building over at the main school. The daycare we send M to is the cheapest out of all the ones we looked at but they're pretty much just a babysitter to me. They love her there and all but do nothing in the way of education. Whereas another one we looked at and really liked was about $80 more a week but they actually "teach" the kids. Would you expect more from ones in a similar price range but with differences in price? I'm not saying looking at the cheapest vs the most expensive but average costing child care but still with a range of prices (Maybe 750 vs. 900/month).
