My daughter loves nuts! She eats peanuts, pine nuts, walnuts, cashews. She's starting daycare in a few months and the faucet is nutfree. I've been a bit stressed out what kinda meals an snacks I can provide for here there since nuts are such a big part of what this picky girl will actually eat!

LO eats loads of nuts! He inhales almond butter and pretty much every other type of nut I give him. He's 2, nearing 3. I tested nuts on him slowly at first, but he has been eating them from at least 12 mos, if not a bit earlier.

Out ped said to wait to introduce them until E it's two. I don't agree with that, but once it comes out of the doctor's mouth it's gospel to DH and there's no convincing him otherwise.

DS is 15 months and we do peanut and almond butter. We have also done walnut, cashew and pecan butter. No sign of allergies so far. I think we started peanut butter at 10 months and almond butter at 12 months.

We added nuts very early. We also were able to diagnose Lala's allergy at around 10 months. We only avoid cashew, pistachio, walnut and pecan. Otherwise we try to use a lot of nuts and keep both girls exposed. Especially peanut and almond.

No my 14 month old has never had any nuts, she had a lick of peanut butter once but then she got a little rash on her face, not sure if that was a coincidence or not

we found out the hard way that DD was allergic to peanuts (which caught us off guard because we have zero family history of peanut allergies!)... but from that, we did a blood test for allergies and found out the only other nut she is sliiiightly allergic to (level 1 out of 10) is walnuts. so she's had almonds and other types of nuts with no issues.

Charlie (3 1/2) doesn't have any allergies that we're aware of, so we don't worry about him eating any type of nuts. Olive (21 months) hasn't had peanuts yet, though there really is no reason to wait since we don't have a history of allergies.

Lately I've been giving them homemade trailmix, and they love it! I put in dried apricots, cranberries, papaya, walnuts, almonds, and pistachio nuts.

Does your LO eat nuts? How old are they?
