He inhales almond butter and pretty much every other type of nut I give him. He's 2, nearing 3. We have also done walnut, cashew and pecan butter. No sign of allergies so far. We also were able to diagnose Lala's allergy at around 10 months. We only avoid cashew, pistachio, walnut and pecan. Otherwise we try to use a lot of nuts and keep both girls exposed. Olive (21 months) hasn't had peanuts yet, though there really is no reason to wait since we don't have a history of allergies.</p> <p>Lately I've been giving them homemade trailmix, and they love it! I put in dried apricots, cranberries, papaya, walnuts, almonds, and pistachio nuts. </p> <p>Does your LO eat nuts? How old are they? </p>
