I'm 27 weeks, and I've been achy in the mornings for weeks now. My back and my hips *hurt* when I get up. It's painful to move around for the first few minutes, but then I feel much better once I start walking around a bit. I've been trying to do prenatal yoga regularly, since that definitely helps. Anything that stretches out my back and opens up my hips is the best therapy.

i'm definitely achy in the mornings. i try to sleep against a pillow on my back for extra cushion. and i have to get up slowly. this is what sucks about pregnancy - aside from morning sickness, which was a million times worse.

I'm more achy in the mornings - mostly my hips, uterus area and ligaments. Achy almost all the time from the round ligaments, but it's definitely worse in the morning.

I think all of my aches started after I gave birth! I feel like I've aged 5 years! Sad times. If you're hurting now, make sure you take it easy after you have your LO. Stay in bed and have people do everything for you for at least 2 weeks. I was up and cleaning, cooking, going out and I totally regret it now! I should have listened to my mom. :P

The further I've gotten, the more I ache in the morning. It probably started around 24 weeks or so. I started adding more pillows to my night time sleeping configuration and it's helped, but my hips still kill me in the morning.
Good luck!

My lower back has been achy since the 1st tri, but it's not super bad. It's not worse in the morning though--it's worse with my commute and watching movies.

I don't know if it's "normal" or not, but I feel like with a growing belly anything is possible!

My lower back is really achy on one side for about 15 mins after I get up lately (19 wks). I hobble around until it goes away.

I'm 25 weeks now and I feel like a grandma! I have aches and pains everywhere. When I first wake up its like my entire back aches and my belly has an achy feeling too. but then once I've been sitting or standing for a while it gets much better. Is this normal to be this achy at 25 weeks?
