Before high school, we only had one year of schooling where we weren't in the same class. Also, we lived far out of town, so if one of us wanted to do an activity, like sports, we both did it. This meant that we didn't have a lot of time to do our own things. School and sports came a lot easier for me, which I know made it harder for her too. Plus, we were both overweight and got teased a fair amount. </p> <p>Advice that I would offer: let each twin have the chance to pursue their own interests. When possible, put them in different classrooms so that there is less comparison. I would get SOOO excited for them to come stay with us and the time flew by when they were there. Maybe @Mrs. Blue will name her boys after you ;)</p> <p>The one unusual experience I had growing up was growing up in a predominantly caucasian town (there were only a handful of minority families in the entire town... I was one of only 3 non-adopted asians in my class. I was the Korean, there was one Japanese, and one Chinese). I'm an identical twin and my twin and I do not get along. We are like night and day. It was hard to develop our own identities growing up. People would always refer to us as "the twins" instead of our own names. Many thought that just because I was good at something meant my sister was too, and vice versa.
