I feel guilty that people like you managed to go so long and I'm whining about hitting 3 months, but I know if was getting more than 6-8 oz a day I would be more apt to stick with it... that just doesn't seem worth it for all the frustrations. I cannot wait for the freeing feeling! DS still tries to nurse every couple of days if he wakes up super early or wakes up from a nap still tired, but he will go 2-3 days in between so I feel like we are finished. I'm happy that he self weaned and that it happened before we got pregnant again. I mean the # of times DH has been able to do bath/bed time in the last few weeks has skyrocketed and ds is 12.5 months!!!!!!!!!!! I've been able to make dinner for us or run a last minute errand. Meet a friend for dinner...etc. w/o having to worry about pumping or feeding DS.</p> <p>While I sometimes miss our nursing sessions, I am SOOOOOOOOOO glad to "have my body back" and not feel like the cow anymore!!!!!!!!!! </p>
