Yes! Dishes and cleanup never end. I'm not even going for a shiny kitchen, but the baby is the messiest eater and I'm always cleaning food scraps and drips and picking up stuff off the floor! And the cooking. Yikes. Food gets eaten so much faster than it takes to make it.

Pretty much - except when LO is eating breakfast, he usually is cool with me just reading while he eats. And once LO goes to bed and dinner is done and everything is cleaned up I usually get to watch an hour of TV with DH. But yeah from 5 am to 8 pm its a tornado.

Oh yes! E rapid fires demands at me like a machine gun. Even when I'm driving, she's whining because she wants me to pick something up for her or help her get a sticker out of her magazine. I have no idea how I'm going to cope adding a baby to the mix.

Not so much with DD since I only have one, but just life in general... After she goes to sleep, there's clean up, then some days laundry, and there's always a few things waiting in the back burner...

Absolutely - not enough hours in the day!

I work at my office 8-4:30, get LO from preschool by 5, cook dinner in my work clothes, feed, clean kitchen/dishes, bathe LO, preparations for next day, bedtime, repeat.
My husband works nights and weekends so most of the time I'm solo. It's insane but we're used to crazy :silly:

yes. from when I get up in the morning until I get everyone out the door for school/work, and then when I come home until my bedtime is a whirlwind of food/dishes/kids/laundry. I don't even have time to really clean my house or work out. it's really stressing me out.... I'm with @Foodnerd81: my downtime is nursing the baby. but even then I'm thinking about everything that still needs to be done...

There is a lot! I expect DS to do a lot of things for himself, and to wait and do something else if I can't help him. I try to sit with my coffee at least once a day and just do that and make everyone else wait. This has to happen when DD is asleep or I may have to tend to her, but she's a baby still. And my house is dirty...

Yes. All the time since having the baby. And forget things like tidying up or cleaning up the kitchen or something. It's like I'm just doing damage control all day.

It helped a lot that DH did a thousand loads of laundry this weekend so we started the week well laundry wise at least. My "downtime" is nursing the baby during nap time or while the toddler is watching tv. If she is awake and Daniel Tiger isn't on even while nursing it's constant.

Changing a diaper, getting someone food, cleaning up crushed crackers, etc...

I seriously am feeling really overwhelmed lately, my girls are super needy and even without giving into all of their demands I am still constantly doing something for someone. It's never ending! Am I the only one who feels like this? How do you catch a break from doing a million things?
