Before having LO, I never felt it. After LO, it's very obvious each month (even when I don't realize what day it is). I track my cycle on an app and when I check, the pains are always around my tracker's time for ovulation.

From day 12-13 I always have tons of energy, my skin glows and my stomach looks and feels extra flat. For days 14-15 I feel bloated, tired, sometimes sick, I get headaches and I usually do feel crampy and sometimes it's accompanied by sharp cramps on one side, occassionally both. It's the same every month like clockwork.

I feel it every month. It's very strong this cycle.. probably because I had a lap about a month ago.

Feels like period cramps all day and like I have to go to the bathroom. And bloated. When I used opks it was right around the time I got my positive opk. Lovely to feel that way during prime baby making time!

@theotherstark: It was wild! If it had continued for one more day, I would have been calling my doc. I was super worried I had a rapidly growing cyst or something, but after I ovulated, everything went back to normal. It was bizarre!

This month, I was on 100mg of Clomid and I'm fairly certain I ovulated on CD 18, which was 4 days after a positive OPK. My cycle has been crazy this month. I thought I wasn't going to end up ovulating at all since I didn't within 2-3 days of my positive OPK and since I didn't with my first Clomid cycle, but then on CD 17 and 18, I had a ridiculous amount of bloating and very painful cramps. My ovaries were very swollen too, as I could actually feel them externally (for the first time ever). It was all very intense.

I don't feel the distinct moment, but there are what I call "twinges" on both sides for about a week leading up, then they become more focused on one side for a day or two. I'm pretty sure I felt implantation start as a distinct moment, though - it was like my uterus got lightheaded! So weird!

Before I was on the pill, I was very regular and felt it most months. It's like a small, sharp pain on one side. I'll be going off the pill later this month to TTC, and I hope my cycle is still the same as it used to be (except for the week long AFs).

I get super bloated and tender for 2-3 days before O, and can sometimes feel O itself (like a sharp pinch) - it depends on the side. But my case is "special" - I have endometriosis growth on both ovaries, so I experience a lot of pain around O. It was much worse before my lap - around O I would be doubled over in pain. Sexy!

@MaryM: Yeah, I think that before, I never really knew for sure which day it would happen, so I wasn't paying attention too closely.

@rachiecakes: I think most people don't? Which is sort of what makes me question if I'm actually feeling it or not. Ha.

@mrs. tictactoe: I do tend to get bloated a bit as well!

@bluestriped bee: I have heard acupuncture can be really helpful in TTC!!

Before we were TTC, I always scoffed when I read that people can feel ovulation. As in 'haha, yeah right, you can't feel something that tiny!' But then I felt it in January and I was like, huh. So that's what they were talking about.
