Yes, it is important for them to hear language, but infants are also so well-adapted to acquiring language. So don't let it be something that gives you stress, or feel pressure to talk all the time. Just do what comes naturally. I would narrate Veronica Mars and Ina Garten to him since that's what I watched during my maternity leave. </p> <p>We still narrate everything for him, but now it's a case of what he wants and expressing his needs. My mom actually gave us parenting props for explaining the correct fruit or something like that when he got it wrong.
