But it was a gift and it's super cute- so I got over that quickly. But then again I'm not easily brand-shamed. Most of what I have or wear is relatively cheap because I'm not really a clothes person but I do have a few expensive items and who cares? I'm a grown up and I get to spend my money on what I want to! (Note, I would never spend that much on a jacket for my own LO) She has been wearing it for about a week, and we get so many comments on it that I'm starting to feel weird about having her wear it. This morning in our lobby, a woman said to her 20-something daughter, "Oh look Lauren, it's the jacket you've been asking for!" And then said to me "Can you adopt my daughter so she can wear designer clothing too?" She was obviously kidding but I just felt awkward. Has anyone else experienced this? I thought most people assumed stuff like that was gifted!
