Not so bad once you get used to it. I clip them while she's nursing. Don't know what I'm gonna do when she stops nursing though. I remember shaking every time I had to go near her nails when she was itty bitty. My mom suggested I file her nails instead of cutting them if I was that worried. I tried that twice and I found it to be tedious and longer, as the days got longer I got better and better at cutting her nails. But I usually do them when she's fast asleep.
