I know there are many things I said I would never do as a mom, and I now find myself doing them! :o Also, I have been that mom in the store with a screaming toddler and I probably look like a horrible mom, but it happens sometimes!. But I have to admit, I still judge other parents. I used to say when I have a baby I will always be holding her. Now if someone at a party wants to hold my baby I let them. I've always been VERY protective of growing & facilitating DS's character and understanding what goes into that and being in some REALLY tough circumstances that wanted to go against that, but still doing it... I know it's possible for anyone to cultivate that as well. I used to think that when children acted out, that the parents were to blame. DS is so well behaved for 4 and way ahead of his time, but sometimes, he's not a joy to be around. I have my way of doing things and opinions but so far haven't felt as adamant as I thought I might about ways to parent.
