He's a landlord and said there was an awful clog in one of the apartments he owns - all due to tampons. The last place I lived our toilet clogged couple of times because of them so I stopped flushing them there. But I grew up in my parents house and flushed for probably over 10 years with no issues (and then lived in subsequent apartments for another 5 years before the last one ). so I saw my last apartment as the exception not the rule. I used to even flush the cardboard applicator. I think I just use plastic now so that's why I can't say I do now. </p> <p>And I can't say that today's threads will even make me stop flushing.
