However, I don't allow him to come home from work and immediately lay down on the couch (he had a bad habit of this.) I make him entertain LO while I get dinner going or a chore that needs to be done. I like to keep the bed a clean sanctuary, which is why I always shower before bed. He'd try and lay in bed in jeans or whatever clothes he wore out and about that day and it horrified me.
