You are sitting there not knowing what the teachers are going to say, while the teacher already knows if it is good or bad and can prepare their delivery. As parents, we are more or less sitting there with no info. Does it help to know that the teachers dread these as much as you? 90% of parents are great but then you have the 10% of crazy or high maintenance or opposite extreme totally uninvolved parent and sometimes walking into the meeting, the teacher doesn't know if you are the 90% or the 10%.</p> <p>I've had some pretty insane parent conferences, so if a parent isn't screaming or turning red, it's a success in my book.
