Can you count how many she's gone through and get an idea of how often they change her?<br /> It sounds like you're starting new care soon, but I would probably mention it anyway. Like "oh she had a bad rash last week and its taking a long time to clear up. Could you change her every 2 hours even if she's dry to help it air out/heal?"<br /> I'm glad your new place will give you a sheet. No matter the reason for the crying, I'd think they'd check everything. But since you mentioned you're already switching daycares, maybe it's not a huge issue if it hasn't happened before (if the switch is happening soon.) Could be, however, that your lo had a fussy day (which maybe had to do with the poop!) and they didn't realize the crying was due to the poopy diaper. We get one everyday that details times of feeding, naps, and diaper changes. If it seemed like they were not changing her often enough on a regular basis I'd be mad. LO's rash is still REALLY awful, so it makes me wonder how long she was sitting in her poop!!</p> <p>@googly-eyes: I wasn't upset by her response, but it made me feel like she didn't have to worry about diaper checks since she already pooped so much. Actually, they probably change her diaper more often than I do at home. When i went to pick her up from daycare, she was crying like crazy and the care provider kept saying it's because she was hungry. I thought maybe it was because i was about 15-20 minutes late in picking her up. I thought she smelled a bit funny but my nose was so stuffed up. I went to the car, nursed her and kept smelling something. Sure enough, she had pooped. I took her back into the daycare because i didn't have any wipes on me, and asked if they could change her diaper because she pooped. The care provider said, "What? Again? She pooped twice today already."</p> <p>Really?? Does it really matter if she pooped once, twice, or three times already? If she's crying, can't they check whether or not it's because of a poopy diaper? </p> <p>Later that evening after bath time, i saw that she had the worst diaper rash everywhere. I was so mad!! I think i'm going to forget about asking them to put her in a cloth diaper after her nap, because they either can't seem to smell the poop or let her go a while without changing her diaper.</p> <p>Would you be upset? Is this normal? </p>
