It's just one of those things that I HAVE to do or it doesn't even feel like summer. I'm sure there are lots of kid-friendly ones we'll discover once LO gets a little older. Last summer our LOs were too little be I think it'll be fun this year. Our park district puts on cultural festivals all summer long on the riverfront. They aren't too expensive or crowded, as we live in a relatively small town. They're great and all but now that we have a kid, I find myself avoiding them so we don't end up with a $100 day at a festival for rides, games and food. :/ </p>
