YES! I hardly ever use lotion but I used it like crazy when I was pregnant.

Now that it's winter, yes! The new house is super dry. My mom just got us a humidifier and I've been chugging water/slathering up in almond oil.

@ValentineMommy: Belly bands drive me absolutely bonkers. They're so itchy and don't keep the pants up properly. I'd rather wear suspenders!

My hands have been extra dry, and my belly gets itchy, though I think that's from the high waist on the maternity pants. Other than that, I'm good!

My skin has been going crazy! I finally went and saw a dermatologist. He said no more lotion--it has too much water in it. He switched me to cetaphil cream. It's a massive relief. I also started using a large humidifier, which has helped tremendously. Even my nose was drying out and starting to crack and bleed!

YES, crazy itchy. I went through a whole huge bottle of Curel body lotion during my pregnancy.

You might mention it to your doctor. Sometimes very itchy skin during pregnancy can be a sign of a more serious condition, but your doctor should be able to tell you if what you're experiencing is normal.

I'm not sure if the itchy skin is from pregnancy, the weather or heater! Maybe a combo? I use a lot of lotion and drink tons of water but I still wake up with crazy scratch marks!
